At JCDecaux, Pierrel supervises the data division's large team of data scientists, analysts and engineers.
The division was formed in 2018 and reports directly to the JC Decaux executive board.
WOO says that the second day of the forum will major on the Science of Out-of-Home (OOH), including the use of:
- data
- audience measurement, and
- making the most of OOH's programmatic opportunity.
Pierrel began his career in the telecoms industry in 2000, working in the sales departments at:
- 3com
- Panasonic, and
- Chicony.
Here, he contributed to their digital transitions.
He joined Microsoft in 2011 as head of ad tech solutions for France and Benelux. In 2013, he joined Facebook as head of marketing science for Southern Europe, before taking over as global director of data, CRM and social for Renault in 2017.
WOO CMO Richard Saturley says, "Pierrel is an acknowledged world expert in the field of data, and we are very fortunate that he can join us to keynote our day at MENA. This amply demonstrates not just the burgeoning role of data in OOH but also the growing importance of the MENA region to big global players in advertising and media."
WOO's first in-person MENA Forum will include presentations and speakers from the region and the wider global OOH industry. This will be announced in the coming weeks.
The MENA Forum will commence with introductory drinks on Wednesday, 15 February, followed by a complete programme of presentations on Thursday, 16 February.
This will be followed by dinner before a half-day of presentations on Friday, 17 February. The Forum Venue is at the Habtoor Grand Resort, Al Falea Street, Jumeirah Beach Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
