The
30 Under 30 Awards is part of INMA's Young Professionals Initiative. The 2023 competition garnered a record 270 applications in July and August.
Now in its fourth year, members of the association's Young Professionals Committee reviewed applications and voted on five award recipients in six categories, which include:
- Advertising
- Data
- Newsroom
- Reader Revenue
- Leadership, and
- Product.
According to INMA, criteria for selection included being under 30 years of age, early career achievements, insights into innovation, ability to influence and likely management skills.
INMA
30 Under 30 Awards recipients receive:
- membership to INMA for one year,
- free access to two INMA Master Classes, and
- a complimentary ticket to INMA's Media Innovation Week.
Winners in each of the six categories, coming from 18 countries, are:
Advertising
- Rosalinde Czysnok: client solutions director, News Corp Australia, Australia
- Nusrat Jahan: digital marketing executive, Prothom Alo, Bangladesh
- Ann Marie Metzendorf: product marketing manager, Wall Street Journal, United States
- Md. Rayhan Ullah Rabin: assistant manager digital media, Channel 24, Bangladesh, and
- Maria Inês Reis: marketing specialist, Público, Portugal.

- Jakob Halm: product manager testing and growth, Der Spiegel, Germany
