The Association for Renewable Energy Practitioners (AREP), a not-for-profit industry body, has announced a free public directory that aims to help South Africans easily find accredited Solar PV practitioners.
There are only two recognised Solar PV quality assurance programmes in South Africa as accepted by key industry stakeholders, and officially published by the AMEU (Association of Municipal Electricity) and multiple municipalities, including the City of Cape
Town, says the AMEU.
Choosing a duly accredited practitioner can help ensure safe, compliant installations, proper paperwork and better long-term performance. The AREP directory also aims to highlight accreditation levels, so South Africans can compare options with confidence, adds the AREP.
How it Works:
- Visit the AREP directory online
- find a practitioner near you, and
- contact your chosen practitioner.
