Tawana Burnett, Head of Meta, Asia Pacific (APAC), has been appointed Jury Chair at Abby Awards 2026 Powered by The One Club | The One Show in the new category of Social Content and Influencer Marketing.
For the last 25 years, Tawana has been a part of teams behind global brands and advertising agencies across the United States, Europe, the Middle East, Afica, Latin America and most recently the APAC, says the NPO.
At Meta where she and her team aim to advise CMOs, business leaders and agency partners on how best to use digital and emerging advertising and commerce solutions to accelerate the growth of their brands. Prior to Meta, Tawana led product teams at Intuit, LeapFrog, J&J and Pfizer, building and launching new products such as QuickBooks, Listerine, Advil and ChapStick, adds the NPO.
A passion for diversity in business, in 2019 Tawana was Featured in Adweek's, Women Trailblazers for her active mentorship and investment in over 15 companies founded by women and for her participation in the '#biascorrect' campaign aimed to correct bias and elevate the discussion of women in leadership positions, says the NPO.
She was inducted into the Ad Age Global Leading Women Class of 2023, The List in 2024 and was selected as a Juror for Spikes Asia and Mad Stars 2024.
Tawana served as Co-Lead for the Singapore Inclusion Council at Meta and the IAB SouthEast Asia and India Board. She currently serves as a board member for the IAA SEA and the Ronald McDonald House NYC, concludes the NPO.
