
Leading Cape-based strategic design agency, Liquidlab, has recently expanded its national client base to include one of South Africa’s most trusted household brands, Nola. The company approached Liquidlab to redesign both its corporate logo and its range of household mayonnaises and dips.

The independent agency was tasked with giving the Nola brand a fresh appeal, as well as designing more captivating, consistent on-shelf packaging.

“The strategy behind the design was to make it easier for the consumer to select a product, while keeping a familiar link to the old packaging, yet incorporating a consistency with the products across the two categories. This was particularly challenging as we had to keep in mind future product extensions,” explains Jo Pelissier, Creative Director at Liquidlab.
