Steers appoints Promise as BTL agency

After a three-way pitch, Promise has been awarded the Steers below-the-line business, effective 1 November. Part of the Famous Brands stable, Steers is a South African brand that has been a part of the South African QSR competitive set for almost 50 years and boasts over 500 restaurants and diners nationwide.

Part of the Famous Brands stable, Steers is a South African brand that has been a part of the South African QSR competitive set for almost 50 years and boasts over 500 restaurants and diners nationwide.
Promise will take responsibility for servicing the BTL and design requirements of these restaurants, which includes consumer promotions; franchisee locality print advertising/marketing initiatives; and general brand designwork such as menus.

We will ensure that the brand's BTL requirements are supported with effective creative work and skillful client support at all times.”
Promise has appointed three new staff members to add support to the agency team. Ryan Whyte and Kholisile Zwane have been appointed to the design studio and Nigel Matthews has been appointed as copywriter.
In order to adequately accommodate growth achieved in 2009, agency systems are being upgraded with the installation of a new high speed network, upgraded hardware and agency management software. Promise is also refreshing the agency space to account for new staff needs.
