The continued success of AMASA (The Advertising Media Association of South Africa) hinges on the existence of a strong and motivated membership. AMASA is calling on all members to re-new their annual membership, and for potential members to download membership forms from www.amasa.org.za to sign up.

Through its membership contributions, AMASA is able to meet its mandate of providing media education and knowledge sharing to the advertising and media industries.

AMASA members have access to reduced fees to the AAA’s six month part time Media Module, SA's premier media programme for aspirant media planners, buyers and media sales representatives; the annual four day media training workshop, where industry experts provide valuable guidance to both beginners and experts; AMASA’s annual golf day; monthly meetings; and, of course, the annual industry bash.

Contributions from members aid the successful continuation of the newly established AMASA Learnership Programme (ALP), a bursary fund which seeks to bring fresh media talent into the current staff-starved industry.

Striving to keep AMASA memberships affordable for all, fees for 2010 are:

• Corporate Membership - R950 per year plus R390 per person
• Individual Membership - R550 per person.

Rates include 14% VAT, and although corporate members are entitled to rotate membership cards within the company, a full and detailed list of member names must be supplied on the membership form for AMASA's database. Student members are required to produce proof of enrolment at a registered institution or an official student card.
