In addition, Nashua Mobile has activated 3D screen advertising that will run until January 2011 at major South Africa airports with four screens at Cape Town International airport and nine screens at OR Tambo International airport.

Nashua Mobile’s 3D cinema advertisement will flight alongside X-Games in 3D, an extreme sports movie. X-Games in 3D captures extreme sport stars such as skateboarder, Bob Burnquist, and Rally Car driver, Travis Pestana, in action with spectacular 3D footage that invades the viewer’s space.

As a big supporter of sport, Nashua Mobile sees this film as a perfect fit for its brand. Nashua Mobile is working closely with Cinemark, the advertising sales company that represents Ster-Kinekor and selected independent cinemas.

The 3D advertisements at the airports, meanwhile, will welcome South African and international travellers with a message about Nashua Mobile’s legendary service and comprehensive product offering.

“We like to be at the forefront of the latest advertising trends and to engage with our audience in innovative ways,” says Doug Mattheus, Marketing Director at Nashua Mobile. “3D is an exciting technology that offers an immersive experience and adds a new dimension to advertising. We are looking forward to seeing how our customers respond to this new format, which offers rich possibilities for advertisers going forward.”
