Last week, in Orlando, Florida, Auction Alliance, South Africa’s leading auctioneer, was officially awarded four highly acclaimed awards at a ceremony celebrating leading auctioneers from across the globe. Hosted in conjunction with America’s largest newspaper, the 2011 National Auctioneers Association & USA Today Marketing Competition aimed to recognise the innovative and progressive marketing efforts of thousands of auctioneers around the world.

Comments Jonathan Kantey, brand manager of Auction Alliance, who collected the awards, “To win highly revered awards of this calibre is a clear sign that South African companies can hold their heads high in international competitions”.

Auction Alliance beat hundreds of entries from competitors worldwide to win the four awards, one of which was the coveted Grand Champion award, the competitions highest accolade.

Kantey was part of a delegation of almost twenty South Africans, and the other awards included the highly revered Overall Winner award, the Auction of the Year Award as well as the Best Audio- Visual Production for their original corporate video.
