These street pole advertisements will be seen lining main roads and busy intersections for a 12-month period, featuring striking design and headlines, carrying commanding messages such as, ‘Make Good Happen’, ‘Give as Good as you Get’, and ‘Connect and Affect’.
This campaign started running at the end of November corresponding with the launch of the
forgood Marketplace – a new feature on the
forgood website, which enables people to easily find ways of contributing to certain causes.
According to Jennifer Marais of HEARTLINES, “The ultimate aim of these arresting Street Pole Advertisements is two-fold. Firstly, to create awareness of the service and to direct people to the
forgood website. Secondly, we wish to encourage the public to engage in the ultimate purpose of the
forgood website and Marketplace, which is to post opportunities for people to give of their time, money or material goods.”
In support of this distinctive initiative, ADreach has committed itself to sponsoring the media rental of 90 signs for a full 12-month period. This sponsorship is valued at approximately R1-million.
According to Marais, “This substantial sponsorship from ADreach, together with the invaluable creative input from all involved truly helped us build a campaign that is bound to get more people to make a difference in South Africa.”
According to Brad Fisher, CEO and founding member of the ADreach Group, “As members of South African society we need to take cognisance of the vast needs, which exist amongst the most impoverished members of our country. This is a prime example of another great and positive initiative, which allows ordinary citizens and residents to get proactively involved in genuine grass-roots development and the advancement of this country. ADreach is proud to have been a part of it.”
