Lethepu Matshaba named brand building director for Personal Care: Cleansing at Unilever

Lethepu Matshaba has been appointed by Unilever as brand building director for Personal Care: Cleansing. In her 14-year tenure with Unilever, she successfully held several positions across various brands and markets including Regional marketing director (Africa, Middle East and Turkey).
She is well-known for steering the FIFA 10 World Cup Organising Committee as head of Marketing Operations. She also worked for leading South African companies and government agencies as an independent consultant.
A seasoned marketing leader, her portfolio includes expertise in category development and leadership; marketing strategy development and deployment; business leadership; stakeholder management; brand development; team leadership and internal business communications.
Lethepu graduated with a B.Sc degree from Rhodes University. Added to her list of achievements is a Master of Business Leadership qualification from the University of South Africa (UNISA). She served as a Marketing APEX Judge in 2012 and is an advisory board member for a leading family magazine.
