Jacobs, who owns a windscreen replacement business in the area, is driving away in a brand new Kia Cerato Sedan as the first Chance Card draw winner in the 2013 McDonald’s Mzansi Millions Monopoly competition.

“I was so excited when I received the call to say that I had won,” says Jacobs. “I’ve collected a few of the McDonald’s Monopoly game labels already but never expected to win one of the three Kia Cerato’s up for grabs as I’ve never won anything in my life. My wife and I moved to the area two months ago with our two children and we’ve been enjoying a McDonald’s meal at the Mall Carnival branch at least twice a week ever since.”

The couple bought a Share Box on a Friday, 18 October, sms’ed their details through on Saturday, 19 October and got the lucky phone call on Monday, 21 October. Jacobs jokes that their new car should definitely go to his lovely wife Edna, because she introduced him to McDonald’s a few years ago.
