Huggies wins Product of the Year Award for 2014

Over the past year, the Huggies® brand has delighted moms with innovative and new product offerings, earning the trusted nappy brand as Product of the Year Award in two categories.
Product of the Year is a consumer voted award which recognise manufacturers for bringing quality and innovative products to the market and consumers. This award serves to assist consumers to find the most innovative new products on the shelves, highlighted by the widely recognised red Product of the Year logo on the winning product packaging.
Huggies® has been awarded Product of the Year for 2014 in both the Regular Diaper Category as well as in the Newborn Diaper Category, for Huggies® Gold for Boys & Girls and My First Nappy, respectively. These awards follow the brand’s move from unisex Huggies® Gold nappies to Huggies® Gold for Boys & Girls. The new offering provides absorbency pads higher up for boys and more centrally positioned for girls. The tailored absorbency pads enable quick absorption of liquid in the right place, resulting in the liquid being evenly distributed and locked away in the super absorbent core. Other innovative features include the underwear like shape of the nappy for comfort, with a triple absorbent core, elastic waistband and stretchy fasteners. Exclusive Mickey and Minnie Mouse Disney© images add to the aesthetic appeal of the nappy’s soft breathable outer cover.
A new introduction to the Huggies® New Baby range was Huggies® My First Nappy, a Size 0 disposable nappy (up to 4kg). Special features include an umbilical cord cut-out to allow for easier cleaning and protection of this delicate area, a wetness indicator that changes from yellow to green when the nappy is wet, fasten anywhere outer tabs to help provide the perfect fit; cottony soft breathable materials and a triple absorbent core with a quilted liner for optimal absorption and skin protection. Huggies® My First Nappy also offers a special runny poo pocket to help prevent runny messes at the back of the nappy.
