Two variants of the Z-CARD® have been produced to outline AFDA’s 2014 prospectus. While one card contains a generic outline of all of the degrees and disciplines offered by the school, the other focuses on its one-year Higher Certificate course in Film, TV and Entertainment Production.

Founded in 1994 by Garth Holmes, Bata Passchier and Deon Opperman, AFDA has grown from a humble beginning with six students, a rented VCR and a broken TV, to one of the leading institutions of its kind in the world today. It now boasts 1200 students, 150 permanent academic employees and administrators, and three fully-equipped campuses in Johannesburg, Cape Town and Durban.

“AFDA has produced some of the top film-makers and actors in South Africa and has made a significant contribution to developing a sustainable local entertainment industry,” confirms Holmes.

AFDA will distribute the Z-CARD®'s at school fairs and visits and internally during its open days, when prospective students and parents are invited to discover the school and everything that it has on offer.

“We selected the Z-CARD® because we love the interactivity and experience that a user enjoys when picking up the pocket-sized prospectus. It gives us ample room inside to outline our degrees and disciplines, whilst still being a convenient size to put in your pocket,” says Holmes.

“Our employees also enjoy using the cards because they are so convenient in size and pack a load of information, all of which is great for kids to put inside their top blazer pocket,” he adds.
