The TasticRice Mxit app encouraged consumers to share their personal Tastic experiences and photographs on a visual diary which then qualified them for an entry into a competition to win 1 of 9 Tastic Red Pots. Mxit’s mobile community was also privy to follow the countrywide Red Pot dinner party experiences, the Tastic ‘Expect More’ videos and a spot in the limelight to share their own Tastic cooking tips with other users.
Tastic Splash Screens delivered over two million impressions and 59 000 click thoughs, coupled with Tradepost messages delivering 845 000 impressions and over 20 000 clicks. The campaign overall secured a total of 61 354 new users to the app.
