A South African national, Miller-Pautz started her career in hospitality recruitment and went on to join Red Carnation Hotel South Africa as a Human Resources and Training Manager for six years. In 2000 she joined the Twelve Apostles Hotel and Spa as the National Human Resource and Training Manager for eight years. In 2008 she was appointed Human Resources Manager at Kerzner International for the opening of One & Only Cape Town, where she was later appointed executive manager, Human Resources. More recently, Miller-Pautz has undertaken HR consulting roles across various industry sectors in Johannesburg.
