Meet Bryan Miles - a master of the wicked manipulation of the mind. His ground-breaking new TV show, One Day with Bryan Miles will have South Africans questioning what is possible and what is not.
This 13 episode docu-reality series on SABC3 begins on Sunday, 10 April 2016 at 17.30 and is repeated on Wednesdays from 13 April at 20.30.
Combining incredible mind control, unbelievable deception and impossible demonstrations, Miles’ high octane entertainment will leave viewers reeling. Whether he is focusing on the name of someone you merely thought of, or impossibly predicting what you will do next, his award-winning abilities are without compare.
Miles says: “After returning from Hollywood, where I was performing, I felt it was time to show South African audiences the true potential of the human mind on a scale that has never been done before in South Africa.”
“Guaranteed to keep you questioning, in each series, we delve into the world of the impossible, from ESP, phobias, hypnosis, illusion and the unexplained to the sheer power of suggestion and invisible forces. This is mind-control on a whole new level.”
Filmed in and around Cape Town as well as at various South African landmarks, in the first episode ‘Does ESP exist?’, Miles meets up with comedian Mark Lottering and tests his psychic abilities, performs an experiment with a set of identical twins and takes a group of elderly people on a day trip they will never forget.
In other episodes Miles cycles down Adderley Street blindfolded; meets Wine Sommelier Tinashe Nyamudoka and Chef Sipokazi Mdlankomo; tests TV presenter Katlego Maboe’s sense of luck; has actor Charles Tertiens experience the power of a memory hallucination; plays the biggest game of hide and seek with musician Jack Parow; shows Francois van Coke a dangerous demonstration involving a sentimental guitar, visits a supposed haunted site and attempts to figure out whether human fate can be controlled.
Do we have a sixth sense? Is hypnosis real? Do you have a good memory? Are there invisible connections that bind us all together? Who is in control of our fears? What is your biggest secret? These are amongst the many questions that will open your mind.
Miles has performed across the globe for movie stars and celebrities.
One Day with Bryan Miles is produced by Penguin Films and commissioned by SABC3. It premieres on Sunday, 10 April 2016 at 17.30.
