Outlandish: Skateboarding Against Poverty.
L’Espace d’un Instant (A Space in Time), by Alexandre Athane, placed first in the
Best Animation category. Athane’s film trumped
Umbrella Girl and
The Journey.
In the
Best Foreign Film category,
Une Bonne Affair (A Splendid Affair) by duo Laurent Ardoint and Stephane Duprat took the honours.
Christo Erasmus won in the
Best Scriptwriting category for
Luna while Andre Coetzee was awarded in the
Best Cinematography category for his work on
Lilith: Genesis One.
