The
Bell Award honours an individual who, though not working for a media owner or agency, has made an exceptional contribution to the betterment of the media sector.
It acknowledges someone who is trustworthy, reliable, long-serving and who can be relied in times of conflict/indecision to supply facts and back them up.
Strini Naicker, vice president: commercial and content distribution for Viacom International Media Networks Africa, says, "The media industry is continuously evolving. It is imperative for us to commemorate individuals who have consistently invested their lives."

They are individuals who have volunteered on media-industry bodies, lectured at colleges, served on industry committees, judged awards and have been described as 'great managers', and 'client-interface people'.
"We always look forward to the

Shepherd Award because it’s our way of celebrating true excellence by recognising those individuals who bring creativity, innovation and leadership to the industry."
Jacaranda FM sponsors Media Agency of the Year and the games roomJacaranda FM will once again provide the entertainment in the games room this year as well as sponsoring the

MOST Awards is one of the greatest acknowledgments in the industry. It’s tough out there and people need to be recognised for their hard work," says Jane Ruinard, head of commercial and trade marketing.
