CACPIR says that Search Africa is the first step in establishing a proudly African music and artistic platform for emerging creatives, encouraging collaboration, sustainability, development and growth across borders.

Entries for Search Africa is open to musicians of any genre and age. The competition intends to make the entry process simple, convenient and easy to enter timeously. This will be accomplished through relevant links and a WhatsApp number, which will be made available on social media prior to the launch.

Submissions for Search Africa are required to be in the form of a 45-second to one-minute performance video. The submissions will be reviewed by virtual judges from each respective country. The chosen submissions will then be shortlisted and uploaded on social media for voting, accompanied by information on how to vote and a link.

Search Africa will consist of numerous rounds, public discussions and challenges, with the intent to keep online audiences engaged and excited.

In addition, CACPIR has announced that it is now building an online academy within the structures Search Africa, as well as a mentorship program. The Non-Profit is also looking forward to the Search Africa Festival/Expo/Fund. More information regarding this will be released to the public shortly.

Search Africa is launched in association with Channel Africa, African Creative Institute, Imbaraga Radio, Metro FM Zambia, Hype-Ghana, Xrated Uganda and many more.
