October has been a stellar month for media update, breaking records on all analytical fronts.

The month saw media update’s website receiving a 127% increase in page views and a 126% increase in unique page views. This brought the niche site's page views to a record total of 101 265 for the month.

Further, October also saw a grand total of 1 859 ‘Grande’, 660 ‘Tall’ and 293 ‘Small’ ratings given, as well as 129 shares directly from the site.

With stories ranging from South African freelancer rates, to the reasons why print should be a part of the marketing mix and how it has become a premium offering, media update has endeavoured to offer readers the most thought-provoking, poignant and important information across the media, marketing, public relations and social media spheres.

For a small, niche South African-based online publication, we are proud to say that our readership is spread across 185 countries. For October, our largest readership bases were in South Africa, United States, United Kingdom, Norway, India and France — with an impressive reach across the African continent too.

Without the continued support of our readers in South Africa and abroad, none of this would be possible.
