The docu-drama Damian Lewis: SPY WARS continues each Friday at 20:15 through to Friday, 6 December, with its run of the true stories behind some of the world's most extraordinary espionage dramas.

Actor Damian Lewis guides viewers through intelligence and security operations of modern times — from rescues to assassination attempts and 'near-misses' in which global catastrophe was narrowly averted.

Viewers can also catch up on new seasons of Ax Men Season 10 and American Pickers Season 16. Ax Men features the drama behind the logging families of the Pacific Northwest, since Ax Men star Gabe Rygaard of 'Rygaard Logging' passed away in a car accident.

American Pickers reveals the small towns along America's back roads, where hidden treasures are uncovered and valuable relics from history are revealed.

New to the HISTORY lineup is Unidentified: Inside America's UFO Investigation, a new six-part series that will air on Fridays at 21:00. Featuring interviews with three former military intelligence and Unites States government officials, the show exposes a series of startling encounters and new investigations. HISTORY films at 20:15 on Sundays feature titles like Secrets in the Sky: The Untold Story of Skunkworks, on Sunday, 17 November. 

Game Changers: Inside The Video Games, which will air on Sunday, 24 November is the untold story of the personal battles that gave rise to the $100-billion video game industry. Brought to life by Oscar-winning director Daniel Junge, the show depicts brilliant innovations, colossal failures and ego-driven rivalries similar to Jobs versus Gates.

The festive line-up for films concludes on Sunday, 22 December with Rise of the Superbombs, which explores how President Trump ordered the use of the "Mother Of All Bombs" over Afghanistan — ushering in a new age of military technology.

December also sees Car Weekend race into gear. On Saturday, 7 December and Sunday, 8 December motoring shows feature two action icons from Hollywood:
  • Battle of 80s Supercars with David Hasselhoff, who sets out to prove how the iconic 1980's KITT car inspired and revolutioniSed the car industry
  • Chuck Norris' Badass Military Vehicles, where Norris takes viewers on a tour through the wildest vehicles in the history of the armed forces in this one-hour special
The line-up also features marathon episodes from Counting Cars season six and season seven, as well as the once-off Counting Cars: Danny's Detroit Special, which sees car restorer Danny Koker selling off two cars from his personal collection.

Evel Live 2 showcases three epic motorcycle stunts, a high-speed jump through a series of 10 flaming boards, a record-breaking 230-foot-jump over 25 beverage trucks and lastly, a 380-foot-jump to set the world record for the longest distance ever jumped on a motorcycle.

Soviet Storm: WWII in the East — which starts on Monday, 9 December — is a television history of the Second World War's Eastern Front, giving a Russian perspective on the war. The total death toll was more than 30 million — most of them civilians.

Salvage Kings is a new series that is starting on Wednesday, 11 December. The series features the demolition and salvage teams at Priestly Demolition Inc. in the job of tearing down buildings. Working in often dangerous conditions, the salvage team hunts for any items they can sell, bringing life to the phrase "one man's trash is another man's treasure." 

Airing on Thursday, 19 December is Great British Royal Ships, which is hosted by Rob Bell. Bell examines the iconic Royal Yacht Britannia, as well as the RMS Queen Mary and the role it has played in history by re-establishing Britain as a great shipbuilding nation.
