The
South African Independent Film Festival has, over the past three years, become one of the players in the local independent film community. For its third edition, the festival has announced that it will be expanding to host events in Johannesburg, Cape Town and Durban.
The festival hosts a selection of:
- local films
- international feature films
- short films
- documentaries
- animations
- music videos, and
- VR experiences.
Top filmmakers at the festival will be awarded by a jury of filmmaking professionals, including two
Academy Award nominees. Candidates are encouraged to submit their work on the
South African Independent Film Festival FilmFreeway Page.
The deadline for entries is on Sunday, 15 March.
