The live event will be streamed on Saturday, 30 May on the company's YouTube channel. The Africa Konekt live lifestyle experience will be headlined by African favourites Nomzamo Mbatha, Lira, Mbuso Khoza, DJ Zinhle and others.

Hosted by Nomzamo Mbatha, the two-hour-long live event will feature a headliner programme featuring live music by musicians Lira and Mbuso Khoza. A fashion exchange experience by Palesa Mokubung of Mantsho — the first African designer to collaborate with global clothing brand H&M — and a beauty talk by Thando Hopa — the first woman with albinism to grace the cover of Vogue magazine.

Saadique Ryklief, an award-winning trendsetter, will also share his expertise on African hair. Head chef Katlego Mlambo will give a 'virtual taste' of Africa in a food segment, while an artist represents the art fraternity with a show and tell of some of their work.

This exquisite programme will be rounded off with a set by wave-maker, South Africa’s DJ Zinhle.
