The new show will be launching on Friday, 12 February. The aim of the show is to answer the age-old question: 'Is love really blind?'

The Breakfast team will host celebrity guest Brendan Peyper as the first contestant to meet three potential love matches. Peyper will have the opportunity to engage with each candidate in a Zoom format Q&A, but he won't be able to see who he has picked as his Valentine until the very end.

Only then will all three contestants switch their cameras on.

"We're a romantic bunch here at the Breakfast team, and since Zoom has become the new way to connect with colleagues and loved ones during the pandemic, we wanted to help our listeners find love through Zoom too," says Martin Bester, Breakfast presenter at Jacaranda FM.

Shortlisted candidates will be contacted to join the virtual dating show and the winner will win a virtual-date with Brendan Peyper.

'My Heart goes Zoom’'will be broadcast on 94.2 and streamed live via the radio station's website.

The station says that all 'Valentine hopefuls' can enter their details, motivations and upload their photo to the website to be considered.
