The new YouTube show kickstarts with the search for two individuals between the ages of 19 and 24 to be the face of this new form of content.

Once the competition closes on Wednesday, 12 May, entrants will be shortlisted and a few will be called in for in-studio auditions. According to DStv, two presenters will be selected, based on their personality, comfort in front of a camera and 'vibe' with each other.

Interested candidates are to review any DStv show in the span of two and five minutes, upload it to their own YouTube channels using #OhSnack and finish the entry form on the DStv website.

Oh, Snack! aims to bring content to the right customers on the right device at the right time and the new presenters will review local originals, dramas and comedies, reality series, documentaries, movies and sport, with the aim of helping DStv customers to plan their viewing.

The Oh, Snack! team will also interview celebrities who are exiting from, returning to or guest-starring on fan favourites. They will point out all the platforms that DStv customers can watch their chosen content on, from the DStv app to the website or the DStv Explora.

To enter, individuals have to be between the ages of 19 and 24 and must be based in Johannesburg or willing to relocate.

Oh, Snack! entrants will also be featured as part of a mini-behind-the-scenes documentary, which will be filmed during the audition phases.
