All female entrepreneurs who've been in business for at least a year can enter for the chance win a life-changing prize, says the radio station.

How to Enter

According to Jacaranda FM, to enter, individuals must follow the steps set out below:

Step 1: Visit Jacaranda FM and share:

  • why your business is important
  • how it gives back to the community, and
  • what assistance you need to bring your business purpose to life.

Step 2: Submit a complete company profile, including:

The Competition Journey

According to Jacaranda FM, the competition journey is as follows:

Top 30 Selection

From all entries, 30 exceptional entrepreneurs will be selected. These top 30 will meet at a special breakfast event, where they'll participate in a pitching workshop.

Top 10 Finalists

From the top 30, a distinguished panel will choose the top 10 businesses. These finalists will present their elevator pitches and business overviews in a 'shark-tank' style setting.

Final Showdown

The top 3 will be selected, with the grand winner announced at a special #HerPerfectPitch event and on-air during Jacaranda FM's award-winning show, Breakfast with Martin Bester.

The Grand Prize

Jacaranda FM says that the grand prize winner will receive:

  • R500 000 worth of advertising on Jacaranda FM
  • conceptualisation, production and creation of a radio advert, plus digital amplification
  • a six-week mentorship
  • a tailor-made business model
  • research consultation
  • branding consultation, and
  • digital and PR consultation.

Each of the top 10 finalists will also receive R100 000 worth of airtime on Jacaranda FM, says the radio station.

Why Enter?

The mentorship alone is invaluable.

"Most participants found the mentorship value of the prize most appealing as they agree that mentorship from other successful women is hard to find. Our prize has mentorship baked in," says King.

Jacaranda FM, along with its 1.3 million loyal listeners, continues to champion the women of Mzansi, providing them with the tools and resources to break boundaries and achieve their dreams, says the radio station.

Individuals are encouraged to head over to Jacaranda FM to enter #HerPerfectPitch2024 and take their business to the next level.

The radio station concludes that this could be someone's chance to elevate their business with backing from a business built for purpose.
