Mpho Beatrix Makosholo, known as "Zazi," Station Manager of Radio Thohoyandou, says Radio Thohoyandou 91.7 MHz, in sync with Gautv, channel 265 on DStv, will create a whirlpool in the nation.
Dr Tuwani Victor Phume, Owner of Gautv and Zallywood, says his vision of connecting Radio Thohoyandou and Gautv is important in the media space, for it functions as a catalyst to hit many birds with one stone.
Radio Thohoyandou 91.7 MHz will broadcast for one hour on Gautv channel 265, Monday through Friday, to highlight some of the province's events and programmes, says the radio station.
The radio station concludes that the Gauteng administration has taken the initiative to supply TV broadcasting equipment and train Radio Thohoyandou 91.7 MHz staff on its use.
