Responding to the growing number of poker players in SA,
BLUFF Magazine’s August/September issue has evolved to further meet the interests of poker enthusiasts. Not only will it demonstrate a shift to more local content from South African contributors and poker pros, but will also feature brand new lifestyle-oriented sections to make for a more entertaining and comprehensive read.
The latest edition includes a new consumer section cleverly dubbed ‘Off The Felt - stuff to keep you occupied when you’re not playing poker’, showcasing games; DVDs; books; and music, while the new gadget review section, called ‘Hardware', looks at news and reviews of the latest gizmos and gadgets on the market.
The August/September edition will also showcase an intriguing must-keep - a year by year look at the 40-year history of the World Series of Poker and the stories that made WSOP great.
BLUFF also quizzes South African poker pro and industry mogul, Thomas Pays, on the local poker boom and how to become a poker entrepreneur. For poker buffs who like to follow the champs, there is a special feature titled ‘The search for the real Daniel Negreanu’, one of the most popular poker players in the world.
BLUFF also spends time chatting to local poker pro, David Rosenthal, and has coverage of the latest local tournaments and results.
Ryan Dreyer, Editor of
BLUFF Magazine, comments: “The August / September issue will be our finest offering yet, and we're continually improving issue upon issue. In terms of local relevance and content thought leadership, the latest issue undoubtedly raises the bar of locally driven poker information.”
