SABC1 brings viewers episode four of the new supernatural psychological thriller, Ubizo/The Calling, on Thursday, 8 March. Noma takes Thandeka out of hospital and back to the ancestral land, against strong warnings from the doctor and Nkosi. Noma is placing all her hopes on the healing properties of the bulb to save Thandeka’s life. The evil spirit of Zondi returns and must be dealt with, and the battle that follows reveals dark secrets about Noma’s mother’s life. The series tracks the journey of Nomathemba, a successful microbiologist whose life is thrown into disarray when she unleashes an ancient evil whilst visiting her ancestral home in search of indigenous healing knowledge. As a scientist far removed from her heritage and traditions, Nomathemba finds herself in a complex situation. Ubizo/The Calling is an Anamazing Workshop Production and will be screened on Thursdays at 21:00 on SABC1.
