This summer, the hottest must-have item will be the much-talked-about Limited Edition David Tlale Collection from Luella. Ranging from beautifully-crafted cage leather platforms to bejewelled satin peep-toes, the Luella David Tlale Collection will be available in stores at the beginning of December.
Those who’ve had a glimpse of the six styles in the range are dazzled by what they’ve seen and David already has a growing list of clients anxiously awaiting their arrival.
“I just love the fact that he’s catered for all women; and shoes are everything to a woman!” says Unathi Nkayi,
METRO FM DJ. “This collection has a classic element to it, yet remains on trend. The shoes are elegant and sexy and I can assure you I am going to have a lovely summer in David Tlale/Luella fusion shoes.
Keeping true to the DT signature, these shoes have a daring element to them. Each item is uniquely crafted and styled to perfection with a keen attention to detail.
“The partnership with Luella came at a right time when I was looking for something that would complement the garments we design. Luella understands what the DT brand is about and, together, we came up with a daring collection that is sure going to turn heads” says designer, David Tlale.
When looking for statement garments to enhance their memorable Winter 2009 shoot, Luella looked to no other than the country’s iconic designer. “Right away we saw the fit between our two brands and looked to take the relationship further,” says Nicky Mitchell-Coyles, Luella’s Marketing Manager. Luella sponsored all shoes for David’s show at
Arise Africa Fashion Week and again at Cape Town Fashion Week. “The next step was clearly the Luella David Tlale Collection – bringing David’s unique style to the country with a range of shoes and handbags inspired by him.”
The Luella David Tlale Collection will be available in 12 Luella stores at the beginning of December. The two handbags complementing the collection are crafted from leather.
