Overvaal Stereo broadcasts on the 96.1 MHz FM frequency to Potchefstroom; Klerksdorp; Odendaalsrus; Carltonville; Coligny; Welkom; Kroonstad; Virginia; Parys; Vanderbijlpark; and Sasolburg. The radio targets listeners in LSM segments six to 10, aged 25 to 49.

The radio targets listeners in LSM segments six to 10, aged 25 to 49. The station broadcasts 24-hours a day, seven days a week mainly in Afrikaans, and contains some English. The programme format is 60% music and 40% talk. The latest RAMS figures (August 2009) indicate listenership of 23 000.
