Urban Brew Studios has won seven awards in the 40th U.S. International Film and Video Festival. The International Film and Video Festival is the world’s leading competition for Corporate, Documentary, Educational, Entertainment and Student productions. Urban Brew’s awards include three First Place Gold Camera Awards, two Silver Screen Second Place awards and two Certificates of Creative Excellence (3rd Place). Urban Brew Studios won awards for the following programmes: Gold Camera: The Cut Episode 2 – Entertainment: Best Reality Programme Episode 7 – Entertainment: Best Director – Marguerite Albrecht Episode 13 – Entertainment: Best Editing - Stefan Van Wyk. Silver Screen: Out of the Box Episode 19 - Entertainment: Best Education-General Education Silver Screen: Khumbul’ekhaya Episode 6 – Entertainment Best Reality Programme Certificates of Creative Excellence: It’s for Life Episode 6 and Episode 9 – Educational: Best Reality Programme. The 40th U.S. International Film and Video Festival Awards gala ceremony will be held on 1 and 2 June in Hollywood, California.
