If 2010 is dubbed the year of endless possibilities – then Raphael Griffiths has certainly given this old adage a true meaning. Not a long time ago, he made his début on local television screens with his first presenting gig on the teen show, qbase28. His rise to stardom continues as he rolls into another gig, where he will be presenting the new SABC 2 music show, M3 (Music Moves me) starting Friday, 12 March at 16:30.

Music Moves Me (M3) is an SABC 2 new music show that will probe music’s influence on character exploration, sussing out the South Africa’s entertainment industry; also celebrating the Mzansi’s musical talents; and lastly inspire a new generation of musos to be 'proudly South African' influencers. The youth targeted programme is fun; engaging; probing; entertaining; and interactive.

Griffiths will journey along with his hordes of female admirers as well as gaining new fans as he showcases his other talents over and above the presenting job that he does on qbase28. “It has been a roller coaster ride for me since my début on the teen show. The experience that I have gathered so far will come in handy as we explore the South African music scenery. I think my versatility, personality as a presenter is another added bonus in taking this property to dithering heights” said Raphael.

The show is a 24 minutes, location based music show. There’s also a couch/ cafeteria style for interviews with musicians, where they take top 10 requests, viewer requests via e-mails or SMSes. They also invite celebrity guests, and this will include a broad range of celebrities across professions, inspirational role models.

“M3 is an edu-training, creative, colourful music show that is a must see on SABC 2. Our country is filled with possibilities, a lot is happening at the moment and exposing our musicians, unearthing new talents is what this show is all about. If there is/was a relevant person to carry the message through – Raphael Griffiths is a perfect fit for our loyal viewers and we hope he will be on a joyride as we move our viewers through music,” commented - SABC2’s Publicity Manager, Zandile Nkonyeni.

SABC 2’s Music Moves Me (M3) will be on-air on Fridays at 16:30 starting 12 March.
