Shaun Ellis has become famous for his unprecedented experiences living with a wolf pack. For years, he has been sleeping; eating; and brawling with a pack of captive wolves at Combe Martin Wildlife Park in Devon, England. At times, it seems that Ellis is almost becoming a wolf himself, and he might jump at the chance if it were not for his other true love — his fiancée Helen Jeffs.

Premiering on Animal Planet on 4 March at 18:15 and 18:40, Living with the Wolfman on Animal Planet (DStv Channel 264) follows Shaun and Helen as Shaun attempts to bring his two loves together by integrating Helen into his wolf pack. As she strives to become accepted by Shaun’s pack, Helen must get closer to these wild animals than most people would ever dare.
Helen goes to extremes, changing her diet and hygiene habits in order not to disturb the wolves’ keen sense of smell. Once inside the pack, she has to growl; bark; and bite her way to authority (literally), all under Shaun’s guidance. She learns to defend her place on the carcasses of prey and even regurgitates her own food into the wolves’ mouths — all with the aim of becoming the first woman ever to live with these animals.
But there is more to this couple than life inside the enclosure. During her initiation into the pack, Helen must find a way to balance her wolf life with domestic life. Getting her nails done, going to dinner with Shaun — regular life does not stop just because the wolves need a nanny.
Can Helen achieve her goal? The unique nature of her mission makes this intriguing new series compulsive viewing.
Living with the Wolfman is produced for Animal Planet by Tigress Productions. Andrew Jackson is the Executive Producer for Tigress and Erin Wanner is the Executive Producer for Animal Planet.
