Kamogelo Mampe, an actress from SABC2’s Muvhango, has decided not to renew her contract with the production house. The actress, who has been playing the role of Palesa, Mukwevho Milling’s receptionist, wishes to pursue other interests. The character of Palesa will still be on screen until early 2008. According to Duma Ndlovu, Muvhango’s executive producer, “Kamogelo is undoubtedly a woman of many talents. She is a professional ballet dancer. Her background includes doing musicals and cabaret and she will go far in this industry”. He concluded it was always a pleasure working with her. She had their confidence that she would do well in her future endeavours. “Young as she is we believe that with her talent, the sky is the limit. We wish her all the best and will miss her”, he added.
