The last weekend in May will see Disney Channel crank up the volume with a rock and pop weekend, full of music-filled episodes and movies.
Coinciding with the Eurovision Finale on Saturday, 29 May, Disney Channel will get viewers rocking with a weekend full of Hannah Montana and JONAS, plus
Sing-alongs of
Camp Rock, High School Musical and
Cheetah Girls.
Also premiering is
Club High School Musical Make It Happen at 12:00 on Saturday, a brand new series following four fans of
High School Musical, who are given four days to put on the biggest
High School Musical performance possible, with the help of a team of mentors.
Disney Channel will welcome old rockers, Iron Weasel, to the channel with a one-off episode of Disney XD series
I'm In The Band at 18:35 on DStv Channel 303.
This show follows Tripp Campbell as he helps his favourite 80's rock band, Iron Weasel, make a comeback. Looks like bringing the band back to stardom may be harder than it seems.
The cast includes:
• Logan Miller as Logan "Tripp" Ryan Campbell - the lead guitarist Iron Weasel, and is determined to help the band make a comeback.
• Steve Valentine as Derek Jupiter - Iron Weasel's lead singer.
• Greg Baker as Burger Pitt - the food loving, slightly dim bass player of Iron Weasel.
• Stephen Full as Ash Tyler - the band's amiable drummer, who is often depicted as being the least bright of the members of Iron Weasel.
• Caitlyn Taylor Love as Isabella "Izzy" Fuentes - a friend of Tripp's who is also a huge fan of Iron Weasel among other rock bands.
