Robert Marawa of Metro FM, popularly known as "Madl'uphutu", won the Best Sports Presenter of the Year Award at the MTN Radio Awards, held on Saturday, 15 May.

Metro FM's Discovery Sports Centre, hosted by Robert Monday to Friday between 18:00 and 19:30, is essential listening for any sports fan, as he tackles all the news of the day across all sports genres. The show redefines radio talk shows by providing a platform for sports discussions that range from lifestyle to political issues in sport. It is an intense yet compact sports experience on radio.

Robert is passionate about broadcasting and one of the few people who has an active loyal television audience and radio listenership simultaneously.
