myLanguage, Inc., the premier language translation and learning community, has announced the launch of myLanguage Travel Companion for South Africa, the only language phrasebook to combine key 2010 FIFA World Cup groups and schedule information, with sightseeing and dining information.
Translations from the 15 languages (Arabic; Danish; Dutch; English; French; German; Greek; Italian; Japanese; Korean; Portuguese; Serbian; Slovak; Slovenian; and Spanish) of participating countries to Afrikaans and English, accompanied by high quality audio, spoken by native speakers are included.
To help the World Cup fan enjoy a true local experience, myLanguage has partnered with Dining-OUT, South Africa's premier on-line restaurant guide, to provide dining information for the hungry fan. To complete the experience, myLanguage Travel Companion also includes sightseeing information such as locations; phone numbers; selected pictures; and more. The application also includes World Cup groups and schedules so fans will have this information at their fingertips.
"Partnering with myLanguage seemed very natural - they provide the best travel phrasebook and World Cup companion we have seen, and we provide the best restaurant guide in South Africa - a perfect match!" said Ric Hutton, Chief Executive Officer and Founder of Dining-OUT. "Dining-OUT's powerful search engine will find fans the perfect restaurant they are in the mood for. Listed restaurants are featured complete with contact details; photos; editorial; maps; and directions. With a quick click, fans can even see the full menu with prices as well as the corkage charge.
"myLanguage Travel Companion is not a travel guide. There are no articles or reviews or details typically found in travel guides. Instead, we've chosen to condense key information together in an interactive, searchable map, showing stadiums, schedules, groups, restaurants, and sightseeing sites. It's the World Cup at your fingertips!
"It's more a helpful, knowledgeable local friend that will help the World Cup fan travel safely; eat well; and be entertained, without breaking the bank! Your local friend in South Africa!" added Hutton.
