It’s time to take out your old school uniform; tie your hair in pony tails; pull up your socks; and pack your toebroodjies - the Barber Boys are going back to school with their brand new comedy, School Cuts!

From the first awkward day of school wearing a uniform that was a too big for you to the highs of matric as you prepare to enter the big world, the show takes you on a hilarious journey of school life as seen through the eyes of comedians, David Isaacs and Oscar Petersen, directed by Heinrich Reisenhofer with music by Jitsvinger. It explores school stories that we are all familiar with including your first school crush; the summer highs of inter- school sports; and surviving visits to the principal’s office for punishment and sometimes... school cuts!

Barber shop owners, Boeta Joe and Boeta Gamat, are also offering their own school-cut specials as they attempt to host a school reunion with the help of Washiela and her home catering. Outjie is also in the mix as a hysterical plot unfolds resulting in a grand finale that will see all the characters on stage simultaneously played by only two actors!

As with all Joe Barber shows, it is an interactive affair where audience members get involved with the stage action and all are encouraged to come to the show dressed in their old school uniforms. Prizes will be given to the best-dressed and those with the best school spirit! Joe Barber 5 - School Cuts is the ideal event at which to host your school reunion where class mates can come together for a comedy icebreaker that will get everyone talking about old times as well as what is happening with latest generation of school-goers and the effect of the World Cup.
