2006 swimwear models announced

The waiting is over, the Sports Illustrated Swimwear models have been chosen. 10 stunning, sexy models have been selected for the 2006 edition of the Sports Illustrated Swimwear issue, brought to you by Nashua which will be available on newsstands from October 16. Once again the country’s hottest models will be whisked off to one of the most exotic locations in the world. The shoot will take place on the breathtaking island of Bali. With its warm waters and magnificent white beaches, the romantic island provides the perfect setting for the gorgeous young models to be photographed showing off this summer’s hottest bikini must-haves. Steve Smith, Editor of Sports Illustrated comments, “I know my mates laugh at me when I say this, but the casting for the annual Swimwear issue is actually pretty tough. There are so many great looking SA models to choose from that selecting just 10 is not the easiest, believe me. This year we have a stellar line-up and Bali is the perfect backdrop for the kind of images our Swimwear has become famous for. Yup, I love my job. I really do :)” For the sixth consecutive year Nashua is once again the naming rights sponsor.
