Aptly titled “Praise Goes To Hollywood”, music from this album is written and composed by members and crew of the Joyous Celebration. It features an eclectic mix of Zouk, Latin and Local sounds, but still maintains the Joyous Celebration signature.
“While we still wanted to remain true to our traditional sounds, we felt moved by the idea of infusing other influences in order to keep Joyous Celebration fresh and the number one urban gospel project,” says Lindelani Mkhize, Show Producer, Creative Director and Co-Founder.
“Not only will we do that, we also have signed on new voices that we discovered during our national tour this year. In addition to that, we will feature one of South Africa’s brightest young talents: a 10-year old drummer who is being groomed by Joyous Celebration,” adds Mkhize.
Another big audience surprise of the evening will be the announcement of Joyous Celebration’s new sponsor.
“We are very excited about this sponsorship, which has enabled us to put together this live recording and will play significant role when we embark on our 2011, “Praise Goes To Hollywood” national tour, says Jabu Hlongwane, Co-Founder.
Tickets for the Live Recording Show are sold through Computicket outlets nationwide and range between R 150 and R 300.
