The guys were once again back in the hot seat as they sought to impress the judges and voting public during the villain episode. This week however they were taken to task as the judges were not at all impressed with any of the scenes, leaving them wanting more personality to shine through and giving their own interpretation of the characters they portrayed.

“Thank you to everyone for supporting me,” says 18-year-old Pallance Dladla who, according to the listeners, won the Metro FM poll of Class Act of the week.

Ephraim - Class Act of the Week
Ephraim showed that he can be good at being bad after delivering the better performance of the remaining four guys this week. While the judges were hard pressed to award immunity outright to any of the four, it was his quality that shone through. The judges handed over the Class Act of the Week award to him, for the second time in a row, which ensures that he gets another bite at the opportunity of becoming SA’s next leading man.

Vuks Eliminated
“It’s the nature of the show, someone has to go,” says show presenter, Kenneth Nkosi, who once again had the unfortunate task of having to advise one of the remaining contestants that their journey on Class Act season 2 had come to an end. This week it was Vuks Ngcingwana that received the lowest votes and will be heading back to Port St John’s. While he was clearly upset at having been eliminated, his spirit was not broken.

“It’s time to discipline my disappointment and work on perfecting my craft. I didn’t want to go home but at least I walk away knowing there are people out there who believe in me and I’m thankful for that. This is a great beginning for me, the doors are open and ndizobangena!”

Moonyeen Lee said that she was delighted that Vuks had come so far and believed that Saturday’s performance was not a true reflection of what he is capable of.

Next week we focus on the girls, with one of them up for elimination
One can only hope that the girls will work hard and do a better job to impress the judges as the next week they take on the villain role. The guest judge this week will be Xolile Tshabalala. Tshabalala is known for her role in Generations as the infamous Julia Motene. A character many loved to hate, the girls can only become better by learning from the tips and critique that Tshabalala will provide them with. Tshabalala has acted in Isidingo, Soul City and the popular theatre production, the Rivonia Trial. Will she be tougher than Moonyeenn and Rapulana?
