Things to do at the Pretoria National Botanical Garden
• Book a guided tour of the garden and learn more about the plants and animals in the garden.
• Visit the Enabling Garden – it highlights the accessibility of gardening to people with disabilities.
• Visitors can walk along the grasslands area of the garden to see if they can spot any of the wildlife that live in the area – many species, such as the Slender mongoose, Scrub hare and Common Duiker often visit the natural grassland for food or for shelter and visitors often spot them in the late afternoon and evening.
• The garden is also home to a plethora of bird species and visitors might even be lucky enough to see a spotted-necked otter around the wetland area.
• Enjoy a delicious lunch at Mokha Restaurant located on the garden’s premises.
