According to the Merrill Lynch 2005 World Wealth Report, there is a sharp increase in global wealth and those who posses it with South Africa having the second fastest percentage growth of US$ Millionaires in the world, currently nearing some 40 000 in the country. Along with local South African partners, the Millionaire Lifestyle magazine will be published by American principal owner and CEO, William Rankin. Rankin is the former President of International Operations for Millionaire Media Group International, a UK registered company operating in Dubai, U.A.E., and parent company of the former SA Millionaire magazine, which saw its last issue in March/April 2006. Rankin says that “Millionaire Lifestyle will endeavor to share with our readers the true essence of the global opulent lifestyle”. As a niche lifestyle publication for the wealthy, Millionaire Lifestyle content will focus on the lavish; exclusive 5-star international and local travel destinations; the newest and best luxury hotels, resorts, and spas; features inclusive of international luxury brands and information that encompasses jewellery, timepieces, fashion, luxury automobiles, yachts and private jets.
