The dynamic Abbas-Mustan director duo (Abbas Alibhai Burmawalla and Mastan Alibhai Burmawalla) are back to enthrall audiences once again with the lean and mean heist flick Players: Go For Gold, releasing on 6 January 2012 at Ster-Kinekor Theatres Gateway (in Durban) and The Zone @ Rosebank (in Johannesburg).
Players: Go For Gold is the official remake of the 2003 Hollywood blockbuster, The Italian Job, and promises to be just as much of a thrilling ride. With a stellar cast of Abhishek Bachchan, Sonam Kapoor, Neil Nitin Mukesh, Bipasha Basu, Bobby Deol, Sikander Kher and Omi Vaidya, this remake promises to pack one heck of a punch. Players: Go For Gold is sure to set the screen ablaze in 2012.
With high speed chase sequences and state-of-the-art special effects set against the backdrop of gorgeous locales in New Zealand and Goa, Players: Go For Gold will redefine Bollywood action movies as we know them. Hang on to your seats, because this ride has just begun!
“We are looking forward to this high octane action thriller and are confident that our loyal Bollywood fan base will also find this re-take on a cult action classic to be as entertaining as the Charlize Theron blockbuster,” says Ryan Waters of Ster-Kinekor Theatres. “We would also like to remind movie goers that they can see more Bollywood for less, by joining one of our loyalty clubs. Full details are available on our website or simply enquire at the cinema.”
