He’s been wowing South African audiences for years and on Friday, 25 May, for one night only; Steve Hofmeyr is performing at the Emerald Resort & Casino in Vanderbijlpark. The concert is part of his nationwide tour celebrating his 25 years in the music industry.
Steve is one of South Africa’s best known singer/song writers and his live performances are well known for ensuring fans are entertained from the opening note until the last.
His 25th album Haloda, according to Steve, features some of his best songs.
“The title literally means ‘hello there, I am back and ready to have lots of fun with my fans’”, says Steve, “and at the concert fans will hear tracks from the album along with crowd favourites Pampoen, Bloubul, Liefling and at least one Neil Diamond song as chosen by the audience.”
“I am really excited about the songs on my latest CD and of the four duets on the album the one I love the best is Pa en Seun which I perform with my son Armand.”
There are a limited number of 500 Golden Circle tickets available at R150 each with 2 000 standard tickets each costing R100. Doors open at 18:00 on the night and the show starts at 19:00.
Tickets can be purchased from the Aquadome at Emerald Resort & Casino or at Carel de Wet High School. For further information contact the casino on 016 982 8341.
