The series follows the fast-paced adventures of unlikely hero, Randy Cunningham who, armed with his magic demon fibre ninja suit, the teachings of the ‘Ninjanomicon’ (an 800 year old Ninja-ing guide for dummies) and his best buddy Howard, finds himself as the one thing protecting his school and the world from certain destruction. Randy Cunningham: 9th Grade Ninja premieres on Disney XD, channel 304 on DStv on Saturday, 6 April at 10:35.

Each episode follows Cunningham and his best buddy Howard as they navigate everyday teenage life at Norrisville High, while taking on monsters, madmen and an evil 800-year-old Sorcerer imprisoned beneath their school.

So just who are these monsters and madmen? They are:

The Sorcerer – Randy’s nemesis, the Sorceror was imprisoned by the original ninja 800 years ago. To stay alive he gains strength by using his ‘stank’, a noxious gas that he sends out to turn students into crazy monsters who create mayhem at Norrisville High. His ultimate goal is to blast out of his prison and take revenge on the world. Right now, the Sorceror and his accomplices are wreaking maximum havoc at Norrisville High and growing stronger by the day.

Hannibal McFist – CEO of McFist Industries, the richest man in Norrisville and the Sorceror’s accomplice, McFist has a bionic arm with a brain inside! He has made a deal with the Sorceror: If McFist can free him, the Sorceror will give him the only thing he doesn’t possess –an awesome magic power. And Randy is in his way.

Willem Viceroy III – McFist’s mad scientist side-kick. He runs the lab at McFist Industries, building robots and genetically engineered creatures to help McFist capture the Ninja. He also helps McFist formulate his plans to free the Sorcerer.

Randy Cunningham is the latest in a long line of fearless ninjas who must protect his school and neighbourhood from these evil forces at the most crucial time ever! And in the meantime, he and Howard still need to get to science class.

Randy Cunningham: 9th Grade Ninja is an original Disney EMEA production commissioned by Disney’s London based production hub and produced by BAFTA award winning animation company Boulder Media in Dublin, Ireland and Emmy nominated Titmouse in Los Angeles, USA.
