Now in its fifth year, Gateway’s Vodacom Durban July Preview Fashion Show is set to wow the audience with yet another breathtaking lineup.

The Vodacom Durban July is referred to as ‘Africa’s Greatest Horseracing Event’. This annual winter spectacle attracts top horses, trainers and jockeys in a battle for R3-million in prize money. The other facet of this event is the enormous hype it creates with its vibrant fashion.

Top designers such as Terrence Bray, Gideon, Andre Martin, Kathrin Kidger and Colleen Eitzeen, to name a few, will interpret the 2013 theme – ‘Posh? Oh My Gosh!’ through classy, glamorous and jaw-dropping garments.

If one is a 5FM fan, make sure one is at the Wave House on Friday, 5 July from 15:00 to 19:00. The Fresh Drive will broadcast from 15:00 with the Ultimix at 6 being performed live on stage.

The preview fashion show will take place after the Fresh Drive at approximately 19:15. Directly after the fashion show, there will be a free concert, which will feature well known home grown acts such as Pascal and Pearce, Fresh, Euphonik and Toya Delazy.

For the first time, Gateway’s Wave House will host the official Vodacom Durban July after party in association with 5FM and Gold Circle. The after party will start at 18:00 and end at 02:00. The concert lineup includes top 5FM DJ’s as well as popular local acts.

From now until Wednesday, 3 July, one lucky shopper will stand a chance to win a trip for two to Mauritius. The prize is valued at R70 000 and includes spectacular VIP experiences during their stay at the five star Inter Continental Hotel.
