In the second series of Mister Maker Comes To Town, everyone’s favourite art show goes on the road. The spin-off programme retains everything that makes Mister Maker great – namely the signature production style and much-loved features. However, it evolves the show with one big difference: Mister Maker is out in the real world … in the Makermobile.
Made from boxes, tubes and other recycled materials, the Makermobile is a hand crafted yet super-cool vehicle complete with mobile Doodle Drawers. It’s magical, practical and very Mister Maker. Travelling anywhere and everywhere, Mister Maker visits children – Mini Makers – and finds new friends whilst getting inspiration for brilliant new makes.
In series two, Mister Maker creates a messy masking tape picture, a reindeer headband, and a hilarious sock bug, while the Mini Makers go deep sea diving in a submarine and make a giant bowling alley.
Mister Maker Comes to Town airs from Friday, 9 August at 08:30 as part of a special Mister Maker Takeover Weekend on CBeebies, channel 306 on DStv.
